Media Vault is your personal cloud library for every image you create or save across Joip. Captioned images, BabeCock compositions, HypnoCock creations, and manual uploads all live here with search, filtering, bulk operations, and a full-featured image viewer.

Uploading Media

There are two ways to add your own images to the Vault:
1

Click the Upload button

Click the Upload button in the toolbar to open a file picker. Select up to 50 images at once. Supported formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP.
2

Or drag and drop

Drag image files directly onto the Media Vault page. A drop overlay appears confirming you can release. Files upload in batches of 10 with a progress bar.
Media from other Joip features (Smart Captions, BabeCock Studio, HypnoCocks) is automatically saved to your Vault. You do not need to upload those manually.

Viewing Your Media

Grid View vs List View

Toggle between two layouts using the view switcher button:
  • Grid view — Displays media as a responsive card grid with square thumbnails. Ideal for visual browsing.
  • List view — Shows media in rows with filenames and metadata visible. Better for finding specific files.
Click any thumbnail (in grid view) to open the fullscreen viewer.

Fullscreen Viewer

The fullscreen viewer provides a distraction-free way to browse your media one image at a time.
ControlAction
Left/Right arrowsNavigate between images (click or keyboard)
+ / - keysZoom in and out (25% increments, up to 300%)
0 keyReset zoom to 100%
H keyToggle the control overlay on/off
Esc keyClose the viewer
The viewer toolbar provides buttons to download the current image, copy it to your clipboard, or open the original file URL. A metadata pill in the bottom-right shows the filename, image dimensions, file size, and creation date.
Enable “Show metadata in viewer” and “Keyboard shortcuts” in the Filters and Settings panel for the full viewer experience. Both are enabled by default.

Searching and Filtering

Type in the search bar to filter media by filename, caption text, or character name. Search results update with a 300ms debounce as you type.

Content Type Filter

Filter media by its source within the Filters & Settings panel:
FilterShows
AllEverything in your Vault
Smart CaptionsImages captioned with the Smart Captions feature
BabeCockCompositions from BabeCock Studio
HypnoCocksHypnoCock creations
UploadsImages you manually uploaded

Date Range Filter

Narrow results to a specific time window:
  • Today, This Week, This Month, This Year, or All Time

Sorting

Choose how media is ordered:
  • Newest first (default) or Oldest first
  • Name A-Z or Name Z-A

Grouping

Enable “Group by month” in settings to visually organize your media into monthly sections.

Bulk Operations

Enter selection mode by clicking the Select button in the toolbar. Once in selection mode:
1

Select items

Click individual items to toggle their selection, or use the Select All checkbox to select everything matching your current filters. You can also click-and-drag (rubber-band selection) across multiple items in grid view.
2

Download selected

Click Download for a single file, or Download ZIP for multiple files. The server creates a ZIP archive on the fly.
3

Delete selected

Click Delete to remove selected items. A confirmation dialog appears before anything is permanently removed.
The selection bar shows exactly how many items are selected and gives you quick access to bulk download, bulk delete, and clear selection.

Managing Individual Files

Hover over (or tap on mobile) any media card to reveal action buttons:
  • Download — Save the file to your device
  • Copy — Copy the image to your clipboard
  • Rename — Change the display name and optionally set a character name
  • Share — Share the image to the community Discover feed (with tag and policy requirements for uploads)
  • Delete — Remove the file permanently (with confirmation)

Renaming

When you rename a media item, you can update two fields:
  1. Display name — The label shown on the card and in the viewer
  2. Character name — An optional tag used for search and filtering

Sharing to Community

Use the Share option to make a media item available on the Discover feed. When sharing uploaded images, you must:
  • Add at least one tag
  • Agree to the content policy
A persistent community copy is created in Joip’s shared storage, so your original file remains private and editable.

How Media Flows Between Features

Your Vault is the central repository that connects all Joip tools:

Smart Captions

Captioned images are automatically saved to the “Captions” folder in your Vault.

BabeCock Studio

Finished compositions land in the “Babecocks” folder.

HypnoCocks

HypnoCock outputs are saved to the “HypnoCocks” folder.

Discover

Saving community media from the Discover feed adds it directly to your Vault.

Filters & Settings Panel

Click the Filters & Settings button to open a comprehensive settings drawer. All preferences are saved to your browser and persist between sessions.

Tips for Organization

1

Use descriptive names

Rename files with meaningful names so you can find them via search later. Include character names if applicable.
2

Filter by source

When looking for a specific type of creation, use the content type filter instead of scrolling through everything.
3

Bulk download before cleanup

Before deleting old media, select the items and use bulk download to create a ZIP backup.
4

Group by month

Enable monthly grouping to see when you created different media. This is helpful for finding items from a specific time period.

FAQ

JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP images are supported. The maximum batch size is 50 files per upload.
Media is stored in Joip’s cloud (Supabase Storage). There is no hard per-user storage cap, but extremely large libraries may experience slower load times.
They are automatically saved to your Media Vault under their respective folders (Captions, Babecocks, HypnoCocks). You can find them by using the content type filter.
Yes. Use the Share button on any media item to share it to the Discover feed. For uploaded images, you need to add at least one tag and agree to the content policy.
Deleting a file from your Vault removes your private copy. If you previously shared it to the community, the community copy remains available on Discover until you explicitly disable sharing.
New and backfilled media items go through an enrichment process that detects image dimensions and metadata. The badge disappears once processing completes (usually within a few seconds).
Yes. Use the Copy button on a card or in the fullscreen viewer. If your browser supports the Clipboard API, the actual image is copied. Otherwise, the image URL is copied as a fallback.
